Hi - thanks very much for doing making this a snap, very very useful. I was wondering how the snap gets new versions, does it require a manual commit from yourself or is there an automated build procedure? I guess I'm trying to work out if I can rely on the snap to be updated in the future - are there plans to keep this running?

And one last one, I like the site (FYI mail verification went to Spam on my gmail), but just out of interest, why not github?

Thanks.

Hi,

Yes. It's frequently updated and I strive to do it as quickly as new releases is published. I might be behind a few days every now and then, and I'm the only maintainer. However, I'm planning to automate part of the process, to ensure things is

The snap Will auto-update, but I have to manually request tracks for each major version (monthly releases), for those who want to stay on a version and do manual upgrades.

That's typically for advanced users that might have breaking changes. But I've implemented a test between upgrades so if config tests fails it won't proceed with the upgrade, to try to prevent installations to break for others that wants to stay on a rolling release.

This is simply my private git as GitHub have limitations on how many private repositories you can have, and I have a few dosen. But you'll find a mirror on GitHub too if you search for home-assistant-snap.

Glad you appreciate the release.
